As a kid I was a bit too into them. I painted a floor to celing picture on my bedroom wall of the cover of 'this is big audio dynamite'. I was also in the fan club and everything. Trouble is that they were mostly shit and it took me quite a few albums before I accepted the truth.

One small step for me
Two leather jackets that were probably made in the 70's - but they were both used when I got them so I'm just guessing.
I regularly wear a pair of Paul Smith's ankle boots that I bought about 10 years ago. I've had them re-soled and heeled about 6 times and they're still going strong and look good - amazing, given the amount of wear they've had.
And I still have my staff member t-shirt from when I worked on West Virginia state fair in 1984.

That reminds me - one of my uncles recently re-married his wife after 60 years (or reconfirmed their vows or some such nonsense) but the suit he wore for this was the same one he wore when they originally got married! Fancy keeping a suit for 60 years - and fancy still being as slim at 80 years old to fit in it!
