Whats the farthest you would think of commuting?

Did Norwich to London and back every day for 5 years. So, over 4 hours on the train, plus 7 in the office.

It's when it starts seeming normal that you should be worried. Bank balance was rosy, but my health was shot. Now work a lovely five minutes walk away from home. And I appreciate it ever day.

:)

My current commute is 2 hours each way. I wouldn't accept anything which is longer though.

No further than what I already do, about 50 mins to 1 hour each way, door to door. Time spent commuting is time wasted imo (unless the journey is a scenic one).

I did Tottenham to Lewisham for a while, but it was only 3 days a week. Still, took me far too long and I quit after a fortnight.

I used to live in Clapham Common and work in Ealing Broadway. As if the journey by tube wasn't enough, there was a 15 minute walk at the other end.

My friend goes from Brixton to Heathrow every day as he's working on T5

When I travel on MML there are quite a few commuters to London out as far as Bedford, which must be the better part of 100 miles.

Personally never commuted more than about 10 miles. My ideal is to walk to work, and I have had a few jobs like that :) Walking home you feel like you've finished work as soon as you leave the office, rather than when you get home :)
