what's to reconcile. My first post wasn't an attack on Shane (it hardly would be - seeing The Pogues was my first proper gig) it was a comment on people like BA who are first to throw about insults on the basis of class background but who are happy to keep schtum when it suits them.

Is he not? What is he? He looks spurs, but i was going by his old band the millwall chainsaws - couldn't imagine anyone else being happy to use that word in the band name unless they were.

I once saw The Pogues in New York, on St. Patrick's day. To hear that song and then "walk out on Broadway, like the first men on the moon" was an emotional experience!
