What's outside your window?

hey, Iam. how'd you get that image sized down as in your post http://www.urban75.net/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=5769801&postcount=24 ???

Clicked the link in your original post, then...

If you use Firefox, you can just right click (on any image) and select view image, then copy the URL.

Although with Flickr, you usually need to remove the "?v=0" from the end too, so it just ends in ".jpg".

:)

e2a: even easier would just be to use the URL in my post up there :D

Outside this window is a small space with weeds and a precarious wall then a one way street and a passage between the car park, student accommodation (love the fire alarms), bins and college down to the main road where I can see the lights of Iceland.

Outside the other side is the blocks courtyard. No parking, some plants mainly concrete and the uh, bins.

I'd have taken pictures if it was daylight. :)

I get too much dull foreground and not enough of the hills behind, which are pretty dominant in real life
I think it really works having the hills surround the scene rather than have them dominate

I know fuck all about photography mind - I just think it looks ace like that. The hills being really in focus would change the whole feel of it

Sunrise from my living room window a few years ago:

Medium size of the Flickr all sizes is the one I use for posting here Spion.

Ta for the info Iam, but I am really crap at 'getting' new things and it took me long enough to grasp the way I wrote :o I'd never remember the way you wrote.

We seem to have similar(ish) views weeps

At the front, the back end of the Co-op funeral service - nice cars!

At the back, a little garden that could be lovely if I had the time, and the slugs would go away. :(

I have an undertakers' car park next door to my back garden!

Get some nematodes for the slugs they worked a treat for our allotment last year..;)

crack heads, mostly.

other times, people screaming at traffic wardens.

We get traffic wardens lurking on the one way street and when they're not there they seem to take their breaks on my bench. Grr.

I'm hugely jealous of those of you with countryside views :( :)

Out my front window I see a brick wall - belonging to a factory. And a car.

Out the back I see a brick wall - belonging to the house behind me. And a dustbin.

*goes to drown sorrows*

Out one side is a massive balcony with some trees, flats and my BBQ

The other side is a very calm and peaceful view of the surrey docks.

I'm in the basement. When I look out the window, I see the dirt mound across the street where our neighbor tore down the old house, and is building a new one.

This morning these were in the view from my window

Not these specific ones but 5 of them, running across the fields.

Torch Song where(roughly) are you?
