What's our left list lovely Tansy Hoskins been up to lately?

As I predicted on another thread, you gave a hostage to fortune when you attacked the Respect the SWP councillors there for jumping ship and joining some other party just to stay a councillor. The Respect George Galloway councillor who's done the same won't be the only one.

As to Tansy Hoskins, here's the revolutionary programme on which she fought the South West London constituency (Kingston, Richmond, Hounslow) when she stood there for the SWP's Left List in the recent GLA elections (in the Surrey Comet 16 April:

What did you want john, workers militas?

No, that wouldn't be revolutionary just silly. Something along the lines of what the SWP says when it's not trying to pretend to be a broad left reform party would have been a start, eg as in this flyer for one of their recent rallies:
We are in a period where it is becoming increasingly obvious that war, poverty, racism and inequality are not simply one-off events but are structured into a system - and that system is capitalism.
The sense of a grinding war without end, the global economic crisis, and accelerating environmental destruction have all made clear the scale of the task we face - and the urgency of fundamental change.
The alternative
Many are asking is this the best we can get? That's why the Socialist Workers Party is holding a rally with some of the best speakers on the left to argue the case for people coming before profit.
While mainstream politicians offer no alternative to the madness of the market, the socialist case for running the world for our collective needs is stronger than ever.
Come along and take part in the debate about creating a society where the billions come first, not the billionaires.
At least the concepts of "fundamental change" and "the alternative" are introduced, which they -- deliberately -- weren't in Left List election campaign. Tansy Hoskins, Lindsey German and the others didn't offer any alternative to the madness of the market, only minor reforms such as offered by the mainstream politicians, eg no bendy buses and a flat tube and rail fare. In fact they just tried to play mainstream politics.
Ironically if the SWP had stood under its own colours they might have got more votes since most people have heard of them. They would certainly have found it hard to get less.
Tansy Hoskins came bottom of the poll with 1526 votes or 0.8%. At least she did better than Lindsey German did in the area with 961 votes or 0.5%. Any of the minor Trotskyist sects who'll be selling their wares outside the SWP's Marxism event would have been able to achieve this result.

Ms Hoskins wants to see one price for all train fares across London paid for by taxing the air fuel of aviation companies. She said: 'If you are living in zone 6, a travel card costs £160 a month. We are campaigning for a flat rate so people who live in the outskirts of the city aren't penalised for living there compared with those who live in the centre'.

where the fuck do they come from?
