What's in your cereal bowl?

Tesco own brand cornflakes

I don't mind cheerios, but the daughter inhales half-boxes at a time, so I rarely buy them, seeing as I never actually get to fucking eat any

In winter it's always ready brek

Christ I'm a woman of massive international intrigue

When was the last time you had porridge where the oats floated on a lake of milk? :p

If you put the oatibix and milk in the microwave and press the hot drink reheat button you get porridge. :)

I tried Oatabix.

I poured the milk in, it disappeared. I poured more milk in and again, it disappeared. After the third attempt at pouring milk in, we were running low on milk and I attempted to eat the cardboard.

It went in the bin after a few mouthfuls

You need about 1/4 pint of milk per Oatibix. :) Weetabix take only a little less but don't taste as nice.

Cheerios this morning. On my shelf there is also a box of bran flakes. I cannot seem to find mini shredded wheats in any shops local to me - have they stopped making them?

Porridge and soft fruit, or else yoghurt, granola and soft fruit. I have been a lifelong cereal fiend, but when asking some people who had more experience of dieting than I about what really works, and describing my diet, (as I wanted to lose a bit of baby-, or frankly, staying-at-home-weight) and a few people said things along the lines of 'Cereal baaaad! Yoghurt or porridge instead'.

And, I must say, after four weeks on new breakfast regime, I'm back into clothes I couldn't fit into at the start of this year and looking trimmer, so I think maybe that's been the key to it, on top of going to the gym once or twice a week and doing quite a lot of walking in the morning to the nursery from home and then from the tube to the office three days a week since the end of January.

I'm about to enter the unknown and make my own granola this afternoon

My basic cereal is porridge oats, soy milk and demerara.

At the moment I usually add Tesco "special flakes", but also sometimes weetabix or allbran.

Cinnamon toast crunch/cinnamon grahams/whatever theyve decided to call it this month - its mainly graham crackers with a metric fucktonne of sugar and some cinnamon, i like it

OR

Blueberry wheats - like shredded wheats with blueberry stuff in the middle
