I was really shocked by the number of homeless children, many of them sniffing glue (I assume glue anyway) out of paper bags and being absolutely out of it. I mean like primary school aged kids.
The past few days has seen a series of protests in Nepal. Around the world this has been reduced to a reactionary response by youth to a "social media ban". This is a shallow obfuscation of the actual situation which has seen a long build up across the counrty against the corruption, nepatisim...

If there wasn’t so much other shit going down I’d pay more attention to this but yeah they actually voted in a new PM on Discord, with the Army’s support, and that’s what’s happening. I mean in the end they’ve voted for someone who’s a previous minister, but it’s the first woman leader of the country ever and that’s also pretty big news in itself. So no, it’s not communism, but it’s a wild example of revolution. Just goes to show how totally hollow the institutions are once people don’t believe in them anymore. They evaporate.
