i was wondering the same thing. took me hour ana half to get from mile end to mare street yesterday evening on the D6. complete gridlock. should have fucking walked. lots of tooting and police sirens toooo

A bus was burnt out over at Limehouse (tunnel?), it's caused all manner of traffic problems round commercial road right up to Bishopsgate and over Tower Bridge...should be ok by tomorrow apparently.

Gonna be closed till the end of November now.

It was better last night, I live on Mare St. Fortunately I cycle so can sail past but it gets so tight in places that it's stop/start even on a bike!

Edited to add: actually I was out last night so it was a breeze getting back at 11pm but I did cycle back the night before at around 6ish.
