What's for tea tonight then?

You do eat good grub :D

I think I overdid it on the aubergine parmigiana...

That Coley dish looks nice, how do you do it?
I'm not sure what you mean by overdoing the aub. parm. If you mean you made too much, then I sympathise. It's a bit of a bastard when you don't have many people to share your food with either, as per my situation. So it looks like I'm going to have to eat it twice a day for the next three days, yet again, just like the last time I made it. :) now, but later: :(

The coley dish: I nicked the herb-crusted salmon recipe off the BBC recipe site (there was no salmon left at the shop), and the creamy broccoli bake is on there as well.

I had potato, onion and courgette rosti the other day as well, which was well tasty.

not too hot, just right for me. the consequences :D are worth it

why i like their thai over most of the other places i've been to is because theirs is soupy - and they serve the rice separately to the main dish.

i had one the other day elsewhere and it was all mixed in together and it wasn't runny. wrong!
:D

Superb - thai curry has got to be thin and soupy, never thick.

And fancy that other place mixing it all in! You have to be able to pour the sauce over yourself and let it sink into the rice, not have some other cunt do it!

As for consequences, I can't wait to get home. I'm not doing my thai curry consequences in the work bogs, we'd get complaints from the tenants :o

Obviously the stoat has already been marinated in Marmite, surely that goes without saying?
Do us a favour and don't put up any recipes eh? I wouldn't wanna get halfway through a recipe for roast chicken and find I didn't have a chicken cos it went without saying:rolleyes:

The aubergine thing...I obsessed over it somewhat and ate it almost every day for a week :o Yes, I could have frozen it, but I just HAD to eat it, rarrr. Now I can't think about it without feeling a little sick.

Ta for the links for the coley dish! The rosti sounds lovely too. I do love it here you know :)

What sort of saussies?

There are three types, but I can only remember the merguez ones in the packet. They're from Simply Sausages on Farringdon Road, which is a sausage-lover's dream

I'm going to have to make some kind of concoction tonight. Everything we have is stuff that needs to defrost. Note to self buy some instant muck.

Tea will probably be tuna, pine nuts, pesto, spinach and maybe some peas with garlic bread.

With pasta, right?

No, just garlic bread. If my son had been home I might have done some pasta but it was just me & hubby and a garlic bread each was more than enough.

It's me, I'm just a greedy fuck :D And ashamed to say that my tea so far is consisting of spliffs, pringles, and some Italian white wine that I don't know the name of but which is making me a little giddy, oh my!

I only have to warm the curry though and put some rice on to eat...good job really :)

Bloody rubbish tea tonight / all week. Had a bbq for my 30th last Sat and the only leftover food was sausages and halloumi. Haven't had the time to go shopping so have been surviving on a sausage based diet all week other than the wonderful hallouni feast inspired by ideas on Suburban on Weds
Need to go shopping for vegetables but got a bbq tomorrow and on sun! It's bbq craziness time.
