Oven food, cos I'm tired and it's raining and I just want to snuggle down with my family and hide.
Pork chops with salad. But salad with cheese and apple because cheese and apple go so well with pork.
Shepherds pie and gravy for her. A made up casserole for me: red onion, garlic, chilli, oregano, lemon, saffron, tomatoes, potato and canellini beans. Maybe some peas. Cherry Bakewells after.
Smoked haddock and cheese fish cake cooked from frozen despite the instructions explicitly saying not to, with leftover roast veg from last night.
Cookie dough ice cream lolly and cider if I don’t die.
More of the venison and Guinness stew from last night (having matured in the pot overnight) with petits pois and crusty bread. Ping food because I really cba on a Monday.
Jamaican veggie patties, pommes dauphinoise, french beans.
Tagliatelle with dolcelatte and pancetta
OK it's not for tea but it's what I've just cooked and it's gonna be my daily meal as I'm on back to back to back shifts from Wed to Fri.
I've made a Jamaican curry with crown prince squash, yam , garlic, thyme and pre shop marinated tofu and coconut milk and rice and peas. Going in the freezer and will be even better by Wednesday.
i'll be havin' stuffed cabbage with mash and green peas...
I polished off the last of my chicken casserole last night, I could have made that chicken stretch to 4 meals worth of food but I don't like to have chicken hanging around that long (or at least that is my excuse!) so I gorged myself.
Tonight I am in 2 minds, I have some potatoes, but they'll be ok tomorrow and I'm quite tired - so I might have the pepperoni pizza that is in the freezer.
one can never go wrong with pepperoni pizza
I’m not dead yet
More of this tonight. Crusty bread instead of mash though and the Rioja is TBC later.

Beans on toast.
Marmite on toast.
The last of the spelt lasagne with Encona.
Just found out it's National Curry Week. So making some kind of veg curry tonight.
Got a bag of spinach doing nowt in the fridge, so it's fusilli in spinach and mascarpone sauce, with toasted pine nuts on top. One of my all-time faves this.
Co op's triple choc cookies, and their dark choccy and ginger cookies, with a decaff tea for afters.
Not going to eat much tonight, one of the guys found a proper greasy spoon within walking distance of the building we are working in, so I stuffed myself at lunchtime
Pulled out the cookbooks to do some new stuff. Not done this for ages.
Spiced Lamb and Apricot stew
Chickpea, Red Onion and Parsley Salad
Hummous (about to start making this)
Got some nice looking posh pita bread from Aldi as well.
I'm hungry already and it's still an hour away.
Kofta, bulgur pilaf and toms last night; veggie sausages and beans tonight.
Chicken burger in pita with salad and salad cream, plus a couple of potato waffles. Toffee yum yum for pudding.
Beer before, cider after.
Remains of some soup I made at the weekend beefed up with extra squash and meatlessballs. Doorstop of home made sourdough.
Beigels and beer last night.
Going to try that kale and spaghetti in a pot tonight.
Thats nice. Even if the Anna Jones recipe used an alarming amount of oil.
I sometimes add chorizo, which is totally not in the spirit of it, but lovely.
I've a budget version I do sometimes with tomatoe paste, frozen veg and a stock cube if I want a pack lunch that's filling.
Yeh, I'll be using a lot less oil I think.
Chorizo and chickpea stew with new potatoes, kale and spring onions.
That was lush.
Did the old trick of putting a potato in the oven while I went swimming and came back to a warm house and a hot dinner. Had it with some cheese and cabbage.
Penne with bacon, butternut squash, chilli and parmesan.
It's a bit of an experiment, as that's all I had in the fridge Smells ok so far, hopefully it'll taste ok as I've made enough for lunch tomorrow as well
