Pork chops with salad. But salad with cheese and apple because cheese and apple go so well with pork.

OK it's not for tea but it's what I've just cooked and it's gonna be my daily meal as I'm on back to back to back shifts from Wed to Fri.
I've made a Jamaican curry with crown prince squash, yam , garlic, thyme and pre shop marinated tofu and coconut milk and rice and peas. Going in the freezer and will be even better by Wednesday.

I polished off the last of my chicken casserole last night, I could have made that chicken stretch to 4 meals worth of food but I don't like to have chicken hanging around that long (or at least that is my excuse!) so I gorged myself.

Tonight I am in 2 minds, I have some potatoes, but they'll be ok tomorrow and I'm quite tired - so I might have the pepperoni pizza that is in the freezer.

Not going to eat much tonight, one of the guys found a proper greasy spoon within walking distance of the building we are working in, so I stuffed myself at lunchtime :)

Pulled out the cookbooks to do some new stuff. Not done this for ages.

    Spiced Lamb and Apricot stew
Chickpea, Red Onion and Parsley Salad
    Bulgar Wheat
Hummous (about to start making this)
Got some nice looking posh pita bread from Aldi as well.

I'm hungry already and it's still an hour away.

Thats nice. Even if the Anna Jones recipe used an alarming amount of oil.

I sometimes add chorizo, which is totally not in the spirit of it, but lovely.

I've a budget version I do sometimes with tomatoe paste, frozen veg and a stock cube if I want a pack lunch that's filling.

It's a bit of an experiment, as that's all I had in the fridge :D Smells ok so far, hopefully it'll taste ok as I've made enough for lunch tomorrow as well :hmm:
