Strong craving for Key Lime Pie now after sojourner mentioned it. Blokes in Belize ride round on bikes loudly selling it. And weed, more quietly. Very civilised. "KEY LIME PIE NOW! JAM TART NOW! (and some smoke?)"

I had a bit of a moment eating Key Lime Pie after some of their other products. Hammock, tropical sunset, key lime pie, stoned. Seems a world away from sitting in a fucking blizzard in Cornwall I can tell you!

I went yesterday and the walk there was horrible but the swim glorious. They'd made the pool quite warm + exercise + hot shower = I was toasty afterwards.

Fish and chips and a coffee in the supermarket cafe. It's the only way. It's half way home and I was so cold. Phil Collins on the stereo, natch.

I was going to have something healthy and virtuos, but fuck that it’s too. Old. So oven tea for me - frozen southern fried chicken steaks, crinkle chips and beans. Bar of fruit’n’nut for pud.

We were mostly completely pissed on the Lord Mayor's excellent choice of wines by then. No-one was paying much attention to food by then tbh

I had Jamie Oliver garlic and chilli pesto and pasta for tea. On the side I had half a grilled sweet red pepper.

Still stranded at my mum's waiting for the gale force snowmageddon to stop blasting the South West before I head home. So stodgy comfort food for dinner - sausages, mash and beans followed by sticky toffee pudding

Kids had omelette, potatoes and broccoli. Mr K and I had chilli made with some leftover roast beef, plus rice and grated cheese on the top. Warming :)

See, I thought they'd whack up the heating and the pool heat too, given the Baltic conditions, but fuck ME - the water was FREEZING!!! Taking the right fucking piss! I was blue :mad::mad: Took me 20 fucking lengths to warm up even slightly :mad:

Anyway, tea tonight was gonna be a pea and parmesan oven-baked risotto, but given I will be swallocking wine first, it's probably not the best idea to be handling boiling liquids, so I'm gonna do a penne arrabiatta instead. Can make the sauce well in advance, and although there will still be boiling water involved, it's not quite as dangerous as the risotto.

Still stuck at my mum's! Dinner will be a boiled ham, new potatoes, cauliflower cheese and peas. One upside of my unexpected two extra days at my mum's is that I get dinners cooked by her :thumbs:

You know when you get that ache sometimes when you eat something and your spit glands kick in? Slakes (TM my Dad).
