Roast leg of lamb studded with garlic and anchovies, and painted in black olive tapenade

I saw an Aussie chef do that exact same recipe on tv yesterday and it looked bloody yummy. He wrapped it in loads and loads of rosemary. I just cooked a roast dinner with chicken, broccoli, cabbage, carrots, leeks and gravy. Feeling very full now :D

We're having roast leg of lamb with garlic and rosemary and a little bit of mint jelly and celeriac and sage dauphinoise. I just took off my fingernail with the mandoline making the dauphinoise. :(

I had half a calzone left over from yesterday when Nosos came round. I did make it myself though.

Guinea fowl, because they had them in the butchers and it looked like a good joint for one. With bread sauce, casseroled celeriac, roast spuds and peas. I'm not sure it was thoroughly cooked. If I stop posting that'll be why...

Guys, your menus are inspirational!!

Mine was fucking lush. The cabbage was especially nice and spicy, and the seseme carrots were a late addition (you know half way through dinner when you think: There's a colour missing here...' - but we got them in the end.

I even had some of the lamb. The anchovies and garlic and olives worked amzingly, and gave a sumptuous salty crust to the fatty meat beneath.

Rosee wine throughout, and lashings of chocolate cake for afters. All I need now is a shag and my day will have been complete. Watch this space.;)

That's how I did it. I laid out three lengths of string, then 12 branches of rosemary from the garden, and then rolled the lamb in the branches and tied it up with the string. I found the recipe on the Intermacweb, and it looked too intuitively right to go wrong. I judged correctly.:)

Actually I'm having tube of pringle cheese and chive style with some iceland mini sausages and tesco value tomato sauce dip accompanied with Chips del oven.

Massive BBQ - jerk chicken, ribs, burgers and sausages for the little 'uns, veggie skewers, big flat field mushrooms all combined with a nice green salad, coleslaw and baked spuds.

And beer. Lots of beer.

Just had roast beef with potatos and yorkshire puddings :D

Was very nice :D

and I have left overs to put in a sandwhich tommorow

Easter eggs, toast, earl grey, more easter eggs :)
Nothing flash for me Im afraid. Im working over the whole of Easter, still here now :(

I had a sweet onion and parmasan tart with a walnut salad (which was much lighter and tastier than i thought it would be :) ) and the house burger and salad at Joanna's in Crystal Palace. And lots of red wine.Lovely.

I had half a pitta bread with humous and an apple, followed a little while later by 500 pints of beer and a couple of bags of crisps.
