I drove to Formby Point and went for a lovely wild windy wet walk along the beach, watching the waves crash - no one around for miles apart from the odd nutter jogger. I found an immaculate mermaids purse and some lovely shells, and saw a huge tanker go along the horizon. Ahhh...bliss :)

I got to roadtest me new deerhunter hat, and my god it was a good buy :D

I've had a lovely hot shower, and am now looking for recipes, sipping a rioja in front of me fake coal fire

A great sunday!

Walked to Stoke Newington, saw a mate, walked back, spammed everyone about a free speech protest, failed to decorate the house with ivy, surfed the net instead, got the paper, mixed up some Christmassy-smelling oils so the house smells festive, arranged to go out with a restaurant reviewer to as posh as fuck place for lunch on Tuesday, got brey hungry in anticipattion, wished friends would hurry up for the casserole/Arsenal extravaganza which is starting in 10 minutes, played ''gotcha fatso'' with the cat.

Installed Blag Linux from a USB key. Set the box up and installed a number of packages. Now I'm about to compile Xen from sources...

I've been in High Barnet at the very end end end end end end of the northern line looking at timber framed buildings.

I've mainly been pressed up against the back wall of the living room with the front door open. I said it was too warm for a log fire tonight.

making soup and bombay potatoes and raita and watching Planet Earth and then wiki-ing Sunfish because they were too damn strange to just go, "oh, so that's a Sunfish" and forget about them.

They are bonkers! They can't close their mouths and have a 15cm long spinal cord.

tossing and turning in bed

Anyone got a good sleep remedy?

1)sex
2)wanking
3)not drinking caffeine after 6pm-ish

Otherwise, chamomile, vervain, hops, valerian, skullcap are all good sedative herbs- in descending order of innocuity/ ascending order of hardcority .

waking up after a wonderful weekend :) sulking that I have to get up, spending too much time on the road to get to work and now trying my very best to wake up when i have no money to buy breakfast and a meeting in 22mins
