What would the world be like if dogs and cats were to dominate it?

Yeah that is right, I think especially cats (apart from a minority, or if their food supply was threatened) wouldn't give a shit about animal rights at all :D Dogs would a bit more I think but they wouldn't really care about stuff like rabbits or cats, especially not cats, unless they evolved a bit more of a capacity to care.

i think they would have a better/more equal society and foreign policy, though, as least as far as other dogs were concerned, whereas if cats ruled the world then from a left wing perspective ;) it would be in an even worse state than it is now. but i think that if dogs controlled the world, cats would definitely not have a very good time.

I think dogs could get along with cats just fine. Dogs have a good nature. It's those fucking treacherous cats that are the source of the trouble.

It would probably be racist to say that, though.

If dogs ruled the world, then i think we'd see cats in a different light. The care free, easy going nature of most dogs would win the cats over thus teaming up with them in Dog War 1 against the pitbulls, dobermans and dogs of the like. this war ofcourse would go on for centurys as the history of the war gets passed down through the ages, because, as we all know, dogs like to get at it quite a bit.

The main weapon was claw paw glove and razor sharp metal false fangs.

As the war go's on, cats begin to see dogs in a different way. Cocoa the house cat will spend many days with Pip the springer spaniel, sharing jokes, comparing cultures and sharing there love of grooming with one another. They never did step over the line to far though, there love just didn't need to be cemented that way. It was a psychological thing.

Many storys of similar plots pass through time giving incentive to the cat world that dog life ain't all that bad, and dogs take cats advice that play time isn't the be all and end all, sitting in front of a fire is just as important in the ying and yang of it all.

As far as we know, that war still go's on. But ironically, the world is a much more peaceful place now that dogs and cats can share there psychological love.

The Pitbulls and the like, remain a mouth foamy mess, living from scraps left by the hyena

amen

Interesting idea. :) Not sure about a war between pit bulls and other dogs though - I think it may be more likely to be a war between large and small dogs in general.

Good point, i may have let my prejudice of Pitbulls and Dobermans (i blame TV for the Doberman one, great guard dogs) influence my post a little to much.  :( :D

Brixton town centre would smell even more strongly of piss.

But the pub-goers would at least eat up their own vomit.

If you did say that you would probably immediately get sharp claws in you by a member of the political correctness lobby.

"...can't even say cats have claws any more or that they're fussy about food, can't even chase them and bark at them cos that's racist ... soon we won't even be able to call them cats any more, we'll have to call them "meowing citizens"...load of shit...i've got nothing against cats but if you can't even say that they can scratch you without being called racist ... you really have to wonder where this country is going..."

;)
