one of our local pubs is turfing the entire inside of the pub, and having loads of bands on. :D

might go to that...
:D

I know what I'll be doing this weekend

FUCKING HAVING IT AT GLASTO WOOHOOO!!!! :D :D

We shall be watching Glasto on the telly box and hoping the weather is good so we can sit with the back door open and the smell of summery air wafting in, mourning the loss of John Peel & the atmosphere he brought to the whole event and cursing on Sunday night when we see the repeat of the Arctic Monkeys performing "When the sun goes down" for the 3 billionth time. :D

OK all you non Glasto people.
What's going on in London this weekend then? I fear I might get depressed just watching the tv coverage. I need to be out having fun...

I have to confess to getting quite emotional watching the TV coverage and knowing what a good atmosphere there is at glasto. But actually I think that's the TV coverage of the stages rather the reality on the ground. Summing up, it's great to go to glasto but it's also great to see the bands on the tv and not feel worn out by sleep deprivation :p

(there's a big uber-arts fest going on down at Area 10 in peckham)

It's a thursday night, I've got a strong desire to listen to some choooons in a warehouse somewhere this weekend...

Went to Glasto through work on Fri - watta NIGHTMARE! Mud bath all day - not my idea of fun. On a proper night out tonight...not sure where tho???

Fancy some bangin beats. Any suggestions?

I had such a great weekend! :D

Friday off work, food festival (free booze, lovely food, good company), drum n bass night, party back at mine with lovely mates, tripping on saturday with lovely mates, long lie in on Sunday and afternoon spent reading wrapped in a blanket in the armchair.

Perfect

So did I subz  Shame you left so early! :(

Met a gorge guy friday night, lots of dancing. Chilled saturday watching Saxondale and eating food with mates. Mates birthday saturday night in a pub, new bloke came, got very pissed and spent most of sunday in bed pretty much err not alone :o :D

Best weekend for a long time :)

Roll on friday!

I had a very, very big weekend. I started drinking on Sat 4pm and then didn't stop to sleep or eat until last orders on Sunday night. I had a BQQ party somewhere in there too. I even missed the last tube from South London and had to night bus it back home. I didn't get to bed until half two Monday morning.

I didn't make in it to work as I'm simply too exhausted. :o I haven't had a weekend like that for a long, long time.

:D Tired and emotional, eh?

Anyway, I had a great weekend too - lovely friend visited and I made loads of delicious food, we drank wine and talked till the small hours. Otherwise the weekend was refreshingly free of incident, apart from Mr K getting bitten by a tick :(
