What university are you at?

I might go to the mature student talk and the hints and tips on doing an MA talk... but I'll have to wait and see how busy I am. I register on the Wednesday. To be honest, communication with SOAS has been extremely difficult so I'm not entirely clear on the whole major/minor thing...

ah. just looked it up and it says:

Students take three taught courses, one of which is considered a major, and complete a 10,000 word dissertation related to the major.

Which means, worryingly, I'm not even sure which is my major... frankly the main problem is that I've moved my entire living room and hall into my office as we're getting new floors and all my paperwork etc is buried under enormous piles of books, CDs, bookshelves and various other furniture.

I'm fully aiming to get my act together next week though...

actually the university of life is very vocational

you can go there to train to be a chiropractor

I register on wednesday as well. I think I only know about the whole major/minor thing cos I have been reading the prospectus over and over again for 3 years now. Does it say more than one course on your acceptance letter? On the application form I only had to specify one course.

Having said that, I have no idea where all my letters etc are and I have no excuse - I'm just disorganised!!

At the Bartlett school of architecture (UCL)... Just gone back. Bit nervous as I'm in a new unit (Bartlett runs 8 different units in the 2nd and 3rd years, each dealing with different subject matter) and I'm not sure if they know what the hell they're doing - wil just have to try and push my ideas I guess.
