Wow, some of you have some amazing gardens! Lucky you! :)

We have 3 small balconies in the apartment and a communal open roof which is great at night. But I dont think anybody has a garden in Barcelona. :D

There's always one

You can tick this option

"I have decking, paving, flower beds, trees, plants AND a pond" (without the pond) :p

I don't have decking. I do have grass. I don't have flower beds but I have large shrubs and bushes.

I don't think that one fits my garden.

It's not huge, as I live in a row of back to back terraces - it's a long strip, with original paving and steps from 1840, couple of beds bursting with shrubs, trees - plum, elder, rowan, 2 grapevines, a huge cotoneaster, and a shed.

That looks like my ideal garden. Pretty and low maintenance.

Nowt to do with me, alas - it just makes me sneeze, so mr moose looks after it. :) It usually has added cat.

the tiny front patches need to be mowed.
but i'll probably leave it as i like seeing orange cat lazying on it using the long grass as padding. :)

First time I got my own place I was dead excited because it had it's own garden. My housemate and I spent a weekend cutting all the bushes back, cutting the grass and making it look nice. Once we had done it we transformed an overgrown garden into something quite nice and useable, as a result we were always having BBQs and people around for parties and things. South facing walled garden - total sun trap. The best thing though was watching said housemate sun bathe in her skimpy bikini :o

Jungle, mostly. It's been cut once this year, and needs doing again, really soon. And all the plants and borders need proper sorting, too. It's not my forte, tbh...

I don't have decking or a tree of my own, although the next door rowan tree drops bits into my pond, and I have a sycamore in the alley at the bottom of the garden which is, apparently, keeping the Japanese Knotweed at bay!

I can't take a picture right now, because it is getting dark, but I kind of like my garden, although I wish the pond wasn't right in the middle - it gets in the way, and it's too big for the size of garden. That reminds me - I am supposed to be rehoming some goldfish!

Ours is a long terrace garden. This was about 3 years ago when it was all tidy. The lavender and dog wood and several other things have grown in a lot since then so it's far more cluttered. And it's got various troughs of veg about the place at the moment too. We demolished the green shed and put one lengthways in the top right and painted it blue.

Please excuse the lack of weeding, the whole plot is overrun with chickweed, If you were to turn through 180 degreed, you'd see my rasberry bushes and where me corcorbits are planted.

Have a very small front garden with a plum tree, a lilac tree and various bits and pieces inm and a very shady back yard in which I am growing lots of ivy and ferns

Photo of front garden here, taken in late May (I think)

We have a small decked area leading to a small garden with lots of trees and flowers and herbs packed into it. At the end is a ropy old brick garage/glorified shed. It's quite a nice little garden but I can't find any decent pictures atm. There are lots of pictures of people boozing and eating in it though. :D

*covets moomoo's patio and pingu's grounds*

Can't post mine because photobucket's doing maintenance.

No garden at all - not even access to a communal one.

I have a couple of 'musts' for wherever I move to next. One is windowsills, so I can grow my own herbs, and the other is some sort of outside space so I can sit in the sun and read, rather than being cooped up in the flat or going to the park and getting hit by people's footballs. :D

Walled garden attached to ground floor flat. Patio outside back door with pub garden style bench and chairs on it, plus mini greenhouse for growing chilis, a dwarf-root cherry tree in a massive pot and the littlun's playhouse.
Very small bit of grass in the middle which is just big enough for the littlun to play on her mini-trampoline or play with her hula-hoop.
Scaffold plank raise bed to the left in full sun for growing veggies.
High raised bed I built at the far end for bamboo, wisteria and flowers.
Bed to the right for passion flower/wisteria/ivy on the wall and assorted flowers.
Couple of extra paving slabs too for the 8 large pots which constitute my herb garden.

My garden consists of thin air! I do have French doors in the front room and bedroom though so when its nice I can open them up and it feels a lot more open and Victoria Pk is just round the corner :)
