What to serve with ratatouille?

I like it with cannelini beans added, for extra carb and protein and general stomach fillment.

Crispy jacket potatoes is probably me fave thing to have with it

And yes, you spelt it corrrectly.

Mash is for people off Peep Show called Jeremy. Only tossers like him eat shit like that.

And anyway, it's MASHED POTATOES. Not 'mash'. Mash is a verb you cunts, you can't eat an action ffs.

Doesnt MAKE SENSE. NEITHER DOES 'MASH'.

I do like the crostini suggestion. I usually serve it with a few large slices of rustic crusty bread. But recently discovered that mash is good too.:)

Just a normal one, Biddly... :hmm:

A normal one, lots of butter, a drop or two of milk, salt and pepper (maybe nutmeg) and then lots of beating with a wooden spoon.

You could get one of those potato ricers if you wanted to be posh though.

But I think the trick really is good mashing spuds, cooked well (so that they're not overcooked on the outside but still slightly underdone inside....LUMPS! ).

I'd still like a ricer though, tbf. :D

I think it's the potatoes that might be the problem... seem to get teeny tiny lumps sometimes (the size of rice) - might be because I'm a bit impatient :D

I'll try the wooden spoon trick

I'd love a ricer... would pretend I was crushing a HUGE garlic clove! I bed they're a bastard to clean though.
