What the fuck goes with brown?

Brown? Racist!

Sorry, wrong thread.

Either you are untethered, or you've been possessed by him. I'm not sure which you'd prefer.

The other Gentleman's rule which I am aware of is this: You should hold a Champagne bottle around the neck, and a Lady around the waist, and never the other way round.

I don't know any others. I am no gentleman.

brown corduroy jacket

This easy.

First you need some elbow pads, leather is best:

Then you'll need an impressive brown tie:

Last you can have an optional impreisive peice of face furniture:

Job done!

It has to be said, that is a bloody rule. Not really one to put on your tombstone, but one to remember, especially after several bottles of champagne.

He actually looks really handsome in that picture. :o

Ha ha ha ha!

That was my first thought, closely followed by what teeps posted.

Then I realised that, among the friends I hang out with*, it could actually look quite cool.

*I'm in a band. I live near Hoxton. I know lots of people who really are a bit 'different.' This may mean that DC no longer wants to wear the coat.

Do you really? Fancy a malibu down the Macbeth?

Yup! Friends of mine used to live next to the Macbeth, too, just before it became trendy. I think they might, actually have been the ones who made it trendy. I am SOOO with it.

Seriously, next time I'm there I'm letting you know.

I am alarmed to see this hatred for brown, for i think it is quite natty and am very fond of a 1960s brown pinstriped jacket that i own.

There is only one colour that goes with brown. It is a blue. It is only one particular blue though and if you get it wrong you will look awful. I am not going to say which particular blue it is though. You will have to buy a lot of blue clothes to find out.

Any bright vibrant colour goes with brown.
Emerald green, royal blue, salmon pink, turquoise, egg yolk yellow.
Not so sure about orange, if it's rich enough.
Red, hmmmmmmmm

I wear orange, turquoise and brown together.

I told my husband I wanted an orange scarf for Christmas and he found a lovely one in.. River Island.

Will definitely be trying some of those other colours with it.

Urghhhh NOTHING. Literally nothing, brown ruins everything. It's my most hated colour, no joke. I really feel very strongly about it.

Did they keep the receipt?

You are wrong. Brown is ace. There are many browns. I like brown. A little too much.
