He's been tweeting about a poll that show him with an approval rating of 46%.

I mean, it's bad enough that ALL polls aside from that one are showing him at less than 40% but why in the fuck would you be bragging about less than half the country thinking you're doing a good job?

Sounds like what they're trying to do with the NHS in this country. Thankfully there does seem to be more awareness among the general public of such antics from Tory and New Labour scumcunts. Although it's not all bad news in the US either, as pointed out by an article you linked to in an earlier post.

It's a Gallup phone poll that's been carried out in the US at the end of every year since 1948, apparently - Hillary Clinton has been the most admired woman for 21 out of the last 24 years, suggesting the poll is being carried out in some weird alternate reality.

The major factor appears to be annoying Trump. It's a recent update and something tells me we may see more just like it.

If you had to guess at the runners up for most admired woman .. who might they be?
(I see Melania scored 8th most admired woman in the USA so kind of dread to imagine who got the 7th spot).

Over the last 24 years, I would have expected Michelle Obama or maybe Condoleezza Rice to come first a few times, but the only other woman to take top spot this century was Laura Bush in 2001.

RIce and Obama did make it into the top 10 this year, as did Queen Elizabeth and Princess Kate.

But none of them jumped on to twitter and slagged off the winner.

I would definitely admire the Queen more if she got on Twitter and started firing off disses to Hillary Clinton, especially if she mentioned the vote to invade Iraq.

(Presumably this is one of those self-selecting polls like the GQ and BBC ones in this country which are always swamped by the votes of political party members acting under central office orders)

I don’t know how the poll was run but the most common response was “None” with a quarter of people polled unable to name anyone they admired.

I reckon you'd get similar results in any country - people will naturally know more [about] people from where they're from. I'd expect a survey done in the UK would have mostly British people on it.
