What sort of white trousers should I buy for a wedding?

These, these...

:o :D

or they have these in Clarks:

what colour shoes are you going for? and what bag, its all about the bag

i would probably wear flat strappy sandals, this is partly because i cant wear heels and partly because i think calf length skirts and flats look good

hand bag you say?

whats one of them then :o :D

It's not funny.

I was determined to be all growed up and sofistikated at this wedding. I can't be either unless I have a matching handbag.

I've got a horrible feeling I'll just be going as 'me'. :D

oooh they are nice
well i take it back about the red skirt then, as it wouldnt go.
i say a pink bag or a white one, probably a white one but im not very well versed in grown up lady bags, i usually have tons of stupid bags on me:rolleyes: hence the name

im so relieved nobody invites me to places :)

Glad to see mr fish sent off for coffee. I wouldn't take fashion tips from him at all, EVER!!

Aqua, the second pair of sandals in Biddly's first post would suit you imo, dunno if schuh go to 9 though.
Is bees getting his hair cut for the wedding then? <runs away>

I was wearing my new jeans today, ended up putting turn-ups on them and thought of milesy :o

I don't like the second ones though an dmost of schuh don't go to a 9

no no hair cutting - its his mate, he knows better than to ask :D

Why won't they go with the skirt? I even zoomed in on the skirt and flicked back and forth but I'd try them on together before dismissing them tbh.

Having said that I am not a trendy type peeps :D

Moomoo - big floppy trousers like wot everyone else said, but make sure they are not see-through! Is it actually possible to have white trousers and not have VPL? Thongs just make it worse IMO because it's bleeding obvious there's a thong involved.

Aqua: cardigan for you? http://www.monsoon.co.uk/invt/13200106 Except they only seem to have it in a 10

I think my top covers my bum (well, I'm hoping so anyway), otherwise I'll have to leave the knickers off. :o :D

That cardie would be perfect for aqua. :)

thanks ruby, that top is lovely :) will investigate monsoon (god I love that place :D)

have a couple of tops in M&S to look at too

why did I leave this so late? :o

not sure I've got the figure for that though  but will try it on and see :)

I've found a turquoisey colour v neck jumper, which although is a bit boring, is a good fall back option :)

also found some quite nice shoes in M&S too, some browny ones that I would wear after this wedding which rocks :D

thanks for your help guys

You'd be surprised, I'd wear that.

Also, may I point out that that skirt would also be nice with boots (although hopefully not wellies as has been de rigeur at weddings lately).
