What sort of white trousers should I buy for a wedding?

I need to try an avoid those polyester type of white trousers.

They wouldn't be nice. :(

I really, really like those linen ones......................:)

Are you sure you want help here? It started well but.................. :D

That skirt is gorgeous

As it is so patterned and tactile, I think a plain top would be nice with a turquoise cardi or shrug.

Errr, actually I think that's what the model is wearing. :o

What shoes have you got?

Wearing a hat or not? ;)

Off the top of my head aqua I'd go for a white top with a turquoise cardi, possibly with a bow fastening.

And some turquoise strappy sandals, probably wedge style.

This is all my own work and in no way influenced by the photo. :)

what body shape are you?

smallish boobs, not the best tum in the world and flabby arms :D

no shoes yet, thats another crisis (I'm a size 9 see) and no, dear good gods no I'm not wearing a hat :D

and yes thanks to moomoo for pointing out whats in the photo :D but I can't find that cardi on their website anywhere hence the question :p

how about a wraparound cardigan? i love wraparound cardigans. i agree with moomoo that when you have so much detail (on a rather spiffing skirt i hasten to add) that you shold go for something plain to compliment it
i think flat sandals would look nice with it but all the larger footed women i know dont like sandals, do you?

I love anything that doesn't hurt my feet :D

whatever I get has to do for the ceremony and the *do*

fucking hate weddings and this one came with fucking dress code on the invites

no children (:D) men in suits and ties, ladies can't remember what it said, but "formal wedding" soemthing I think

you can imagine what bees thinks of this :D only its his friend so he can't get out of it :D

hmm - a wrap around top - sleeve to elbow or lower, in the cream/stone base colour of the skirt - not too tight, but with some shape to it. underneath which, a vest / camisole in the turquoise of the skirt.

shoes can be flat brown leather sandals.

that's dressy enough, imo.

edit - what does monsoon have? anything?

i'll have a look - but rather than try to find a vest in exactly the right shade, you could make a 'false front' of fabric and fix it to your bra straps on either side.
