I bought a wollen flat cap cos it was only a fiver and I thought I'd look quite cool, and was young enough to get away with it.

I had a grey cropped tank top from Miss Selfridge in the mid-90s, after that stupid uniform fashion that was around at the time. It looked quite good with a vest. My midriff was always cold, though.

I would like to stress there were no flat caps involved and I was not living anywhere near Old St.
