What song would you want to be played and your funeral?

As the people come into the crem. Kraftwerk Showroom Dummies and then Joy Division Atrocity Exhibiton as the coffin goes through the curtain to burn.

AC/DC-Highway to hell.

Or East 17-Stay another day if I was being formal about the whole damn thing!

Another Girl Another Planet; The Only Ones.

Preferebably with crushed coffin on rubbish barge sailing down the Thames from Northumberland Wharf solid waste transfer station, into the sunrise, with mates swalling tinnies of 'K' cider on the quayside.

Ahhh

It's extremely tempting to go for Albinoni's Adagio,

That would be one of mine.

I'd also like Paul Robeson - Deep River.

Follwed by The Internationale, which everyone will have to sing along to.

Oh, I like the lyrics. Although I think that most people at the funeral won't have a clue of the tune, so it will probably sound pretty horrendous.

Robbie Williams: Supreme, to the tune of I Will Survive

Already done my funeral CD:- Sound of Spitfire doing a flypast at very low level. Followed by:- I can see clearly now the rain has gone.(Jimmy Cliffe version) Followed by the theme song from The Littlest Hobo, followed by The Hal and Tow, (Oyster Band), followed by The Parting Glass, (Belfast Busker)

This will sound really corny but I would like

Eva Cassidy - Somewhere over the rainbow :)

Such a sweet song

for comedy value I'd like something like bingo bango by basement jaxx :D

I'd also like something written by Mike Skinner undecided on the song yet though

Is that the one that goes

'maybe tomorrow I just might settle down, until tomorrow I'll just keep....' :)

Good choice though doing a CD already is a bit premature isn't it? :(

Something by Jeff Buckley or Nick Drake.

Followed by the Banana Spilts theme.

And then, a bit of Nina Simone.

God, who cares? Not like I'm going to be there to complain!

Not when 10 years ago I was given 5 years to live. I have been living on borrowed time for some time now.

I want Heroes by Bowie, for the 'We can be heroes, just for one day' line so both people that come feel a bit guilty and sorry for me.

My mum wants (Burn Baby Burn) Disco Inferno, and Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes as the coffin gets cremated.

*wonders why I am the way I am* :D
