What song played at your funeral?

Thea Gilmour - 'I'll be holding your hand' in the hope that my children will feel that even when i'm not here i'm with them! Does that make me an over protective parent?!

No I think that's rather sweet but me personally I have to take the light hearted option. I may even throw in some mashup like 'Bill Gates Tampax Squat Party' by Shitmat.

Atmosphere by Joy Division at the actual cremation, If I Should Fall From Grace With God at the wake.

Although i do quite like the idea of having something really inappropriate like Fat Bottomed Girls by Queen.

Bit of a subject for me...
Smile please ..... Stevie Wonder.... Thinking Of You... Sister Sledge....
And songs by Marvyn Gaye,Aretha,Kanye West...

I did think about doing lots of sick ones as well to make my mates and kids laugh and do a voice over on some.... Terry Jacks,Elton John etc
But my son told me he didnt want people laughing at my funeral....Somehow i think they will anyway..

Here Come The Warm Jets - Eno

especially if i'm being cremated.

and 'Noble Experiment' by Thinking Fellers Union Local 282

no really.

I'd like to have eye of the tiger. I'd like to have an old lady playing everything on the organ, with the first line sung by a lone choir boy. Then the whole congregation would erupt for the chorus.

But after that I'd like to have a song I actually like.. not really sure tho. maybe someone could do come on eileen as well.

why is the title of this thread in the past tense?

i want "Survive" by King Prawn or "Man of the Living" by Yabby You...
