what size le creuset?

Anyone with red creuset is bound to have thrown their keys into a bowl at a party at some point.

Exactly it's all a bit fondue and pampas grass.

Made me look at biddles and nipsla in a new light.
:hmm:

I don't have any car keys to put in a bowl at swingers partys. I'm the swinger party equivalent of the fat asthmatic kid who gets sent to play in goal :(

Good lord, what did I start.

I don't know how old my parents' one (which is the reason I think they should be orange) is, but they were around in the 70s... :hmm: And my dad did have a car... :(

Ah, nobody cares about LeCreuset stoneware. If it's not the enamelled iron nobody's interested

;)

It's this little one here:

Is that stoneware then?

They do look very practical but Mrs Untethered won't have French goods in the house. We make do with enamelled baking tins.

yups :(

but I still think it's cool... well it would be if it were in teal  I also have on my xmas list some stonewear lasagne dishes :D

The teal's a pretty colour too. I use my dish for roasting potatoes in as well, it does an ace job of that.

They did a pink cast iron casserole a couple of years ago with profits going to Breast Cancer UK

I have blue and my Mum's got yellow She got them as an engagement present in 1974 and they're still going strong

Ooh, Almond is quite nice, although I imagine it'll be more of a bugger than most to clean (that's my mother's voice there). Still no match for the mighty Volcanic though  ;)

To be honest, they've done pretty well with the colours, they're all pretty nice. I'm sure that'll make Mr. Creuset rest easy.

I have a 22 and a 26, crustychick. The 22 is used when it's just the two of us, and for making bread. The 26 is for "dinner parties" and you can easily serve 6-8 out of it. I wouldn't want it any bigger, tbh. Mine are green and orange, btw. :)

Thanks Ms T. Maybe that's just what I need then :)

I was erring towards 28 and 24 but maybe I've just got a bigger is better mentality or something :o

perhaps a two colour approach is one I should be embracing as well
