What percentage of your belongings are books?

When I moved to a smaller apartment I got rid of 95% of my books and started using/supporting my local library* again.





*spoilt rotten as it’s the Barbican.

About 5 - 10% probably, but then also realise that my entire possessions could fit in the back of an Escort van I hate hoarding books - I borrow mostly, and any books that I do buy would probably be happier being read by someone else than sat gathering dust on my shelf.

Having just had to pack all of my stuff up again i have 9 large boxes of books (luckily mostly paperbacks)..............

Mind you, you don't have to live or work locally to use that library - which is the best public library I've ever seen.
