After reading most of the posts I think something is wrong with the thread's title.
If you want to use "world" then the first requirement is to be aware of it that "world" means there are other systems (and other standards among which some are higher then yours) then what you have in the UK.

Most lefties would at least agree that scholarships and assisted school places for independent schools are bollocks.
