what modern punk floats your boat

Consumed, Snuff, Mad Caddies, Swingin' utters, subhumans... Err... most of Fat Wreck's bands are worth a look. It's a bit hard calling them new mind you, since most of the decent bands around have been going for at least 10 years.

Helen Love
The Donnas

OK, they're both very heavily Ramones-indebted but frankly who cares? So were the Ramones too.

The Shocks from Berlin are pretty good. They're doing some gigs in London next week. '77 stylee with loads of energy, sometimes do a bizarre cover of Depeche Mode's 'New Life' though.
