Nokia 6330 - donated by a friend when she got a free upgrade. It's by far the most modern phone I've ever had :)

Nokia 6300.

Its the easiest, quickest to text on, most compatible phone I've had. I really can't be fussed with anything more complicated all that much because I wouldn't use it enough to justify paying any more than £10 a month for a calls/texts package. I'm currently switching to the new £10/month Vodafone liberty package which is perfect for me.

Nah, I think Nokia will keep the lead, but not by half as much as you'd expect.

The more discerning the customer, the less likely they are to use a Nokia these days. Whereas before some folks wouldn't even consider anything other than a Nokia in the past.
Nokia currently have nearly twice as many votes as another make, so there must be a lot of undiscerning customers on urban, by your reckoning.

I've been using them for years. They're good solid phones and you don't have to learn a whole new menu system every time you get a new mobile. (I tried a Samsung once and soon got annoyed with the fiddly menu system)

An HP iPaq running WM6 and an old Nokia 6210 (not the navigator) as emergency phone on pay-as-you-go which fits the car hands-free.

Both OK, WM6 pisses me off a bit but it's very handy having web access, email and outlook calender on my phone.

Nokia, don't know what model it is. I did flirt briefly with a Sony Ericsson but I always come back to Nokia.

Yep, have tried a variety, but always come back to Nokia, cos apart from old age, I've never had a problem with them.

Still using a Nokia 6310i. Nokia seem to have forgotten that the green and red buttons are important in the scheme of things!

Use a rubber armoured Nokia as backup on Vodafone but cant remember the model number.

Nokia 6300 for me.

The missus has an LG something-or-other (the cheap one with the full keyboard) that I wouldn't call a smartphone. Though admittedly I'm not entirely sure what a smartphone is.

if this thread was in surburban people would be saying "why buy a phone when you could make your own? "

anyway, mine's a motorola - i think this is the third motorola i've had, and it's my fourth phone in total - my first phone was an erricson.
