What is your preferred lunch slot?

I don't eat at lunchtime cos I eat every cpl of hours, so I take an hour normally from 1:30 to 2:30, then I only have an hour to go when I get back cos I finish at half 3. Means a long (6.5 hrs) morning, 7am - 1:30, but I get breaks/breathers constantly as I work over several floors so my day is not tracked too much.

I go 12:30-1:30 usually, cos me boss goes later and doesn't like us to overlap too much incase people come in with a really serious problem like someone has spilt a drop of tea in the corridor!! 'It's a safety issue!!!'

This is not too bad and the 'shorter afternoon' factor is nice
The only fly in the ointment is that I often get in at 8am so am doing a 5 hour morning stint.

i don't have a choice adn ahve ot go at 12pm and only get half hour as i don't work a full day

if i did have a choice and had to work a full day i would go at 12.30-1.30pm.

we don't have set slots, but the latest you can take your lunch is 2pm. personally i would have starved to death by then!

It's been so nice outside this week. Been having lunch under the sun at the studio balcony.
And today we spent an hour at a park by Exmouth market.
I hope we'll have a proper summer this year.

There isn't an option for me. 2pm-3pm. It means the afternoon flies by, plus I can get into the coffee shop across the road without having to queue because the dinnertime rush has ended.

Ideally I like going for lunch about 12.30. I usually have quite a lot of control over my scheduled appointments and if possible I like having 12.00-14.00 free so I can take lunch and do admin in that time as I feel like it that day. Having said that, I usually take lunch back to my desk and only take half an hour for it.

If I'm in the office I usually take a late lunch for half an hour at 1.30/2-ish (after arriving before 8), simply because I work so much better before lunch.

If I'm not in the office I just fit it in with appointments and travel.

Well, my preferred is the quick pub lunch at 12:00 which rolls past 14:00 and someone suggests diverting the office phone to the least drunk persons mobile. Then the madness begins. However these 'slots' are rare
