Viva Forever is a good song. Spice Girls had a few good songs looking back on the whole thing.

Whichever finishes the quickest.

I think it was the late and much-missed George Harrison who said that the best way to enjoy a Spice Girls video was with the mute button on. Seeing as he was a member of arguably the greatest mainstream pop act in the world, ever, I have to concur with him on this subject.

And anyone even attempting to compare the Spice Girls with The Beatles will be dragged through Urbanland on a wattle hurdle and summarily burned, so be warned.

dunno, i find it hard to look at the spice girls' back catalogue in that whole 'oh actually they were good' way - the one that seems popular now for eg Take That. as in it's ok to like them because we're all so over it...

Wannabe was a great pop song, mind - put it on anywhere and watch people dance. that must mean something.

Looking at the poll just reminds me how shit all their songs were.

Geri Halliwell is the worst singer of all time. Bar none. My cat can sing better than her and I don't have a cat.

If I can alllow my manly manlinees drop for second, Good Bye is a pretty sweet song.

God I feel so dirty...

I was living abroad when they broke out and came home for a weekend. Found a 'Wannabe' CD belonging to my brother's gf and thought 'Hmm what's this?' then played it about 14 million times in a day. I thought it was accidentally fucking brilliant, and this was when I was living in a tent with dreads and listening to The World Service and non-stop techno 24/7. It was proper amazing pop music and we have them to thank for Girls Aloud

Wannbee - I loves scary's rap :D:cool::D

Spice Girls were ace, what happened to those strong young women and girl power ey?:(

Girl power- a logo stitched on to nike trainers by 12 year old girls working 13 hour shifts in 'Special Economic Zones'

They were both a symptom of and a large push towards the increasing failure of feminism to succeed in its goal of a better, fairer society. As a result, a generation of girls grew up confusing "being strong and independent" with "binge drinking, being anti-intellectual and fitting the popular view of what makes you good looking"

As a result, fuck 'em.

2 Become 1, reminds me of Christmas 96 when I was living with my soon to be husband, not long had my first cat and was really happy.

Tory scum.

Halliwell's quote after D*ana died "we're really sad she had great girl power" summmed it up.

Cunts.

Anyway, Spice up Your life.

I always liked Viva Forever. It makes me want to cry (for some unknown reason). I also like 2 Become 1. And Stop right now, thank you very much, i need somebody with the human touch.....
...erm etc
:o
