Anyway, how can you choose a favourite nut? It's like choosing a favourite fruit. I like all foods like they are my children. All in my belly.

Good cashew nuts are fucking fantastic. My suitcase coming back from Brazil contained giant bags of huge cashews. It's ruined it for me really; a mangy 75p mini bag from the pub seems a crushing disappointment now.

Oh my god the shame. I did know that, I usually include it in my riveting pub talk about 'nuts' when the subject comes up (and maybe even sometimes when it doesn't). I think I was just too keen to lay down a not all nuts are nuts post.
