What is your favourite Clash song?

Can't pick just one, but if I was going to play a track of theirs right now, it'd be...

Rudie Can't Fail

:)

Clash City Rockers for me

Or I'm not down

or career oppotunities

hang on is this like desert island clash disks

in which case I'll come up with the other 5 in a mo

Erm, not one that sticks out as a Fav, but ere we go anyhow

What's my name
White riot
Complete Control
White Man in Hammersmith Palais
Safe European home

What's my name is fucking great, there's a live video of them doing it and the ferocity of Joe Strummer spitting out the lyrics just blows me away.

Yeah, Tizza a raw tune to be sure:)

Armagideon Time for me. A great tune and it reminds me of when I first started getting stoned at about 15.

too many to pick jsut one.

White man in Hammersmith Palais.
Clash City Rockers.
Londons Calling, Clampdown, whats my name?, armegeddion time, guns of brixton, straight to hell ...

Can't really pick one but 'London Calling's gotta be a major contender.

Although 'Spanish Bombs' takes some beating. And the live version of 'I Fought The Law off , erm, the live one, whatever it was called.

There's loads. I could be here all night ...

'Somebody Got Murdered' used to get me leaping around me bedroom splintering furniture in my wake when I was a yoot, too.

Complete Control
The Card Cheat (underrated I reckon)
Remote Control
Clampdown
Tommygun

off the top of my head... loads more though, cant remember where i put my 'Give em Enough Rope' cd :(

Definitely NOT their best, but definitely my fav:

I'm all lost in the supermarket
I can no longer shop happily
I came in here for that special offer
A guaranteed personality

This is England is second favourite, but again, far from the best.

Lost in the Supermarket is one of the best pop songs ever! and Rock the Casbah will make anyone dance. these are my favourites...

I mean the musical genre that arose as an antidote to prog, yet how long was it before they were releasing a triple concept album of white boy reggae?
They released a triple album in order to get out of their contract.
