What is the most amazing sporting fact?

Are there any football league clubs named after actual buildings other than Crystal Palace and former league members, New Brighton Tower?

ETA - I suppose Woolwich Arsenal is one in a way...
 
Since the formation of the Football League in 1888, the only non-league team to win the FA Cup is Tottenham in 1901.

In 1919 the Football League decided to expand the First Division from 20 to 22 teams. Chelsea, who had finished 19th the previous season, were spared the drop; bottom-placed Spurs went down and were replaced by Second Division outfit Arsenal.

Quite impressive: Since then Arsenal have never left the top division.

You miss out the crucial fact that Arsenal only finished fifth in Division 2 that season. By rights Barnsley should have gone up
