that old Guy Called Gerald stuff is scheduled for re-release pretty soon, so i wouldn't bother emptying my wallet for overpriced 2ndhand copies if i were you- they'll press up both vinyl and cd, according to his website...

They've been "coming coon" for the last four years, I'll shave my satchel if they ever happen.

If you look hard enough/wait long enough you can find one of the Colombia releases of 28 Gun for £10-15.

I'll have a look what I've got and let you know.

"Assemble not thyself" 12 inch mix- The Terrors on Phase One - top steppers
"Kibir am Lak" Ras Michael and the Sons of Negus originally on Top Rank, every copy I've ever had(3) has been nicked!!!! Suppose that says something...

"Way back in the 1960s" Incredible String Band out of print from time and so hard to even find anyone whose ever fucking heard of em....

Not posting up a bid luck but worn notes await in my sweating palms for those who can help....

Rough tune hipipol, I have the 7" but haven't been able to find the 12" either. Doesn't quite touch Jah Jah New Garden for me as Roy Francis' best production, but close.
I have a few LPs by the Incredibles, not sure if that's one of them. I'll have a look, I could burn it to CD if so.

Marc & The Mambas- Torments and Torreros... on CD (i've got it on vinyl/2XLP already)
will give, ah i dunno... £ 20-ish? disc must be a unscratched (i.e., playable) copy.

When I first posted on u75, one of the first threads I started was to find this track. I was told the artist was steve emmanual, but there is nothing on the internet under that name, so I have to assume its wrong.
The track is 'what you do for me'. A classic garage track, I heard it around 99.
I don't know what I'd make of the track now, but it'd be worth it, just for the nostalgia.

I heard a song on John Peel show years ago when only little about 'the sound that's made by worms, it's a new sound, the sound from underground, the sound that's made by worms' then a funny wormy noise. I would love to find this again but have fuck all money as discovered gadgetshop.com when pissed with a creditcard:( :(

There's a few tunes I'd pay some hard cash for. Most i've ever paid for a tune is 40 quid, and that was Android by the Prodigy. (also had an unreleased version of everybody in the place on it)

The one I want at the moment, which I had ordered, but they declined my card!! Is Sunbeam-Love Is Paradise. I'll have it,cos I just will. Would pay up to 30 for it.

The tune is called "My Mind", the original 7" now fetches high prices. There has been a reissue 7" on Pablo's Rockers International label which you might be able to locate at Supertone on Acre Lane or Dub Vendor.
By far the best way to get it is to buy his classic LP "Africa Must Be Free By 1983", which has been pressed pretty much continuously for the last 20-odd years anfd reguarly appears in roots collectors' top 20 LP lists. Same shops will probably have it, or if you buy CD's it's easy to find online. If you can get the CD that includes the (Augustus Pablo) dub version of the LP I'm sure you'll be very pleased.

thanks so much ringo! never realised it was on the africa must be free album. i've thought about buying it a few times but it was always a bit too expensive compared to what i normally pay for cds, but i'll definitely get it now!

I'm currently hunting a Sade 12" Nothing Can Come Between Us for the b-side which is Make Some Room (Extended Version) after hearing it on a mix earlier this year. It's virtualy an instrumental and sounds like a Mr Fingers track but the 12" has so far eluded me. I'm sure it can't be that rare as I see other Sade 12"s from the same LP in charity shops and car boots so I doubt it even will cost that much but i would pay up to a tenner.

erm, nothing tremendously exciting really...currently on the lookout for a Membranes album I've forgotten the name of, but it's the one with Kiteman, and Kafka's Dad on.

and also a 12" (I think) by Abo called the werewolf.

this is why I can't find anything, cos i can't remember what it was called cos its from 20 years ago when i was constantly trashed....and when i do finally find a copy it'll be rubbish!
