What is Manor House like?

There are some ok roads in the Manor House area back of Green Lanes, victorian house flat conversion type places, if you want to be near the Castle. The Clissold Park end of Stoke Newington is near there too.

I would concur with this.

I feel safer around Manor House than I did living near wembley thats for sure. Spend a fair bit of time at a youth centre on the Woodberry Down Estate (the huge estate people are talking about here) and to be honest, it's alright.

Down the road is Finsbury Park, with a lot more going on, not much further down is Camden. In a slightly different direction is Stoke Newington.

All in all not such a bad place. My girlfriend had her wallet stolen there last year but crime happens everywhere I guess.

your near finsbury park, green lanes has some wicked kebab shops (seriously), some half decent pubs, good buses and tube connections, lots of drug dealers. aint too bad.

"Manor House" is the name of the local psychiatric loony bin here, so this thread made me laugh.
