What in your home makes it feel like home?

My BF farting in the morning without fail....

my daughter in the shower singing her head off to the fish radio she loves sooo much...

It's been to three properties with me (as well as my parents' house, when I was growing up) and I always put it up ASAP to feel like I'm home. :)

The dog - when I came back from hols and we hadn't picked him up from the sitters house it didn't feel like home at all.

my boyfriend
the familiar sense of shame at the scummy mess

This is me too! :D
Not quite enough shame to do anything about it tho! :o

the other thing that makes me feel at home is spending hours cooking. i love it, especially the lovely food i get to eat at the end! :D

What makes it feel like home?
When the bills plop through the letter box with my frigging name on them.
Otherwise, records and decks and just "my stuff" set up so i can noodle away and being able to cook/wash/eat/sleep with no hassle....just the basics really

I can relate to that even though we were exhausted when we came back I travelled right to my Mum's to get Mouse back as home felt very weird without her :)

I'm loving my home at the minute.

My good lady and lovely daughter obviously make it. I love Bob as well. The smell also.

It's a new flat, so has a lovely new smell to it. Whenever, I go away for the weekend and come back, it's really great to smell your home as you open the front door.
