what happened to Chris Morris???

I doubt he'll slip up his own proverbial.

Him and Ianucci are still good friends according to the last Ianucci interview on Danny Baker's show on BBC LDN.

Peter Baynham studied at Fleetwood Nautical College - There is no chance on earth he'll slip up his own arse, anyone whose experience of student life is in Fleetwood is incapable of forgetting his feet are firmly on the ground.

So?

Dunno. But, wasn't he told he was never going to work in television again after upsetting someone high-up their own arse?

Any Brass Eye downloads anywhere???

He upset Michael Grade when he was at Channel 4 but started working for them again once he'd buggered off. Morris hid a subliminal message in an episode of Brasseye saying 'Grade is a cunt' after he was made to chop a section from the show called Ripper: The Musical. IIRC, the Daily Mail had found about it, kicked up a stink and Grade backed down – much to Morris' considerable ire.

It was Sutcliffe: The Musical actually. :p

I like Jam, too, but it's not as good as the aforementioned programs. Not seen My Wrongs, yet.
Brass Eye and The Day Today are his best satirical work, but Jam certainly wins on general weirdness IMO :D

My wrongs is alright, not as good as his other stuff but still worth watching.

The CAB update says: "We've heard (from people who wish not to be named, but who we're very grateful to for the info) that Nathan Barley series 2 looks like it is almost certainly going ahead. So I guess that pretty much confirms what we were told about Will Adamsdale working on it (check the update down there that was posted on the 1st of December for a bit more info). Any more details out there?"

I see no real reason to disbelieve it as CAB don't have a history of telling porkies about this sort of thing.

Nicholas Burns was a guest on this weekend's 'Soccer AM'. He said he's not aware that there'll be another series...

I was only passing on what I heard elsewhere from people who are usually pretty reliable. Personally, I could easily live without another series of Nathan Barley as I thought the first one was patchy at best (although the episode with the Geek Pie haircut was superb).

He was mentioned on the Comedy Map of Britain the other night. They played the clip from when he was working in local radio and had filled the newsreaders studio with helium. It was funny as fuck :D

Nathan Barley was great - it just didn't fit people's expectations. I really didn't like it at first, but on a 2nd viewing when i stopped thinking "this is a Chris Morris programme", I realised I'd been wrong.

Same here.
