I've got them right here... and they're called satinliners. Bollocks, they're not Babyliss, they're Braun.Geri said:Could you check what they're called? Can't find anything called Satinliners.

I've also been known to come back and check they are off.![]()

Whereas it used to take a good 20 or more.

(Just for what it's worth be wary of babyliss glass plate straighteners - mine just get dried up gloop from any serum etc on them - it seems to stick to them!)

I got some GHDs last month, and I'm beginning to see why people get so evangelical about them
But I've heard you shouldn't use them more than three times a week – anyone know if this is true? As much as I hate my frizz, it's better than no hair at all. I really want to to use them every day, but wonder if I'm causing any long-term damage.
Do you wash your hair every day? I find that after using my GHDs my hair stays straight the next day anyway.

I have to wash it every day, unfortunately – it's unbelievably thick and soaks up grime very quickly
I've grown it into a bob, but it's already high-maintenance. I'm remembering why I kept it cropped for so many years...

GHD's are great, but daily ironing will fuck your hair!![]()

i've been ghding me hair at least dailing for ooo maybe six years... exactly the same as when i first started![]()

everyone seems to use straighteners - even people like me with straight hair.
What would it achieve, were I to bother?
