When I was 9 my dad bought a pineapple especially for me. I had never seen one before and I was so keen to please him that I ate the whole thing and was sick all night.

Cast iron stomach me not come across anything I wont try at least once, eaten everything that's been offered from fried pig brains to various insects/invertebrates, to that strange soya bean slime that the Japanese have for breakfast (although I admit it's not my favourite food) and those Chinese "1000 year old", soaked in soya sauce and horse piss eggs. Not to keen on stuff that's still alive when I'm chewing on it though but that's not a matter of the taste.
