What food inspires you to blow chunks

Yetman said:
Erm, nah I do actually not like some food - I liked eggs as a kid, dont now.
Yeah, but there's a difference between not liking something and it making you sick - I don't like tuna, but I'll eat if there's nowt else available.

I once saw my aunt cooking and eating cow tongue, it smelt really bad and it looked so freaky on the plate, ewww

my granny would occasionally cook cow tongue. I ould not stand it just by looking at it. it felt like french kissing a cow:eek:

the day I start drinking ouzo or pastis/ricard is the day I really have to give up alcohol. it's undrinkable.

Rubbish. I can even demonstrate how you can drink the stuff. From a real glass and everything. So ner ner ner.

Stick to the cheapo keg stout GD

:p

stuff is disgusting! it activates my gag reflex

Christ. If you think Pernod is bad, try something like Todi - that coconut derived liquor/moonshine drunk by Indian fishermen. We went on a big round trip to the backwaters to get some of the genuine article.

Smelt of rancid peanuts, but surely the taste couldn't be as bad as the aroma.... It tasted, in fact, even worse if that was possible - think turps mixed with upchuck and the remains of coconut in faeces. I don't think I even had time to gag - I had a stomach-emptying technicolour yawn in a matter of milliseconds. Never again.

Even the word 'chunks' in the title of this thread made me feel queasy because it reminds me of Pineapple-The Devils own fruit

whats wrong with pineapple?....most people like it :)

When I was 9 my dad bought a pineapple especially for me. I had never seen one before and I was so keen to please him that I ate the whole thing and was sick all night.
Even the smell of it now makes me want to vom

Fish, though I like a lot of it now, apart from tuna and mackeral. Though I'll eat it if I was a guest and it was put in front of me. Would be rude not to. I remember a guest once refusing to eat something I'd made cos it had peppers in it - 'I don't eat peppers'

Ugh, why didn't you choose 'Organs"? Blargh.

yea i guess most of this stuff is psychological.

Cast iron stomach me :D not come across anything I wont try at least once, eaten everything that's been offered from fried pig brains to various insects/invertebrates, to that strange soya bean slime that the Japanese have for breakfast (although I admit it's not my favourite food) and those Chinese "1000 year old", soaked in soya sauce and horse piss eggs. Not to keen on stuff that's still alive when I'm chewing on it though but that's not a matter of the taste. :D

Would you eat/have you eaten infected corn, Fuchs?
Andrew Zimern ate that on the last episode of Bizarre Foods. I think it took place in Mexico.

Although I like thai fish sauce added to hot food, I made a thai salad that had fish sauce as part of the dressing and it was fucking vile :(
Tasted for all the world like I'd dropped it in a puddle on Grimsby docks
