What food do you dislike the most?

Celery - fucking rank, tastes of dirt. Satay sauce. Horseradish, but not the sauce. Coffee-flavoured chocolates - but not coffee. Or chocolate. Erm..

That's it really.

Crumpets.

Loads of votes for celery here. Poor old celery, it's very good for you and has been used in cooking for thousands of years.

I don't eat much of it on it's own but if you destring it and use it as an ingredient it adds huge flavour and depth to all sorts of dishes. Stocks, soups, chilli, pies - they all benefit from celery without adding a distinctive celery taste to the meal. It's one of the main ingredients of cajun and creole cooking. You probably eat loads of it in small doses without realising it's true worth.

mushrooms - truly the vilest slugs of the foodstuff world

there's lots of other stuff i don't klike, but mushrooms genuinely repel me.

Marmite is fantastic. In fact, I want some now!

Vile wrongness for tastebud impaired smokers: corriander. <Yuch!>

I used to hate celery and fish, but now I love them both.

I hate coffee, so anything coffee flavoured.

Oh, and cooked salmon - fuck off.

Marmite (loathe it with a passion)
Avocado (it's a texture thing)
Eggs with runny yolks

Anchovies. :(

Seriously, if one has ever been in your fridge - even wrapped up - then bin it and buy a new one. They poison everything in spitting distance with the taste. Even when they're no longer present.

I'm sure there's other things I find equally putrid but can't remember presently.

It's either ketchup or baked beans.

American mustard makes me angry. They should call it "sweet disgusting sauce for people with no sense of taste".
