What food do 9, 11 and 13-year-olds eat?

it's easy to forget quite how spoilt we are in London for sheer choice of foods.

exactly. They're fine in Dublin as it's a city, but where they're from, up until a few years ago, I doubt they'd even tasted a red pepper.

Hm, stuffed peppers (if they liked pepper)

You'll probably find they will eat whatever they are given at someone elses house. My smallest apparently loves mashed potato at Auntie R's house, but won't eat potato at all here.

Got kids that age coming to stay in a couple of weeks for a long weekend.

I have absolutely no idea what to do. I don't think I've even ever cooked for 6 people before, never mind kids.

Besides the obvious spag bol, what else do I do?

(I want easy stuff remember 'cos I can't cook) :o

Ask their mother if there's anything they won't eat, and what their favourite dishes are. There's not really a generic answer to your question. Kids are individuals, too.

Chips and fried egg
chips and sausage
chips and baked beans
chips and fish fingers
chips and bacon
chips and fried tomatoes
chips and burgers
chips and meatballs
chips and chops
chips and pizza
chips and chips

They might eat frozen peas with some of the above.

Of course you could always ask their parents.

Don't forget that kids like chips.

Food.

All sorts of food.*

*Unless you're my son's friend in which case you only eat, white bread (with crusts removed) with butter, plain cooked pasta, peas, crisps and sweets. :(

When I was a kid, (oven) chips were one of the few things that I was never that fond of, actually. I always found them a bit dry. 'Pparently, the kabbess was just the same.

Mashed spuds and chicken in breadcrumbs

I've twice asked their father about where they would like to go, and he hasn't come up with anything :D

You can piss right off if you think I'm doing that. I already have to be tour guide and take them out :D
so buy some ready made pizza bases and topping sauce and then grab a few toppings from the chiller in the supermarket. You can buy pepperoni, cheese etc all ready prepared.
make them cook their own dinner;)

Find easy recipes that they can help you make. :)

Pasta with tomato sauce
Home made burgers
Baked potato with an interesting filling
lasagne
etc
