What Films Are You Waiting To See?

Glastonbury-might go tonight if it's on anywhere local

Walk the Line-missed this at the cinema so I'll wait til it's out on DVD

X-Men 3-last two were good, probably the best comic book films yet

V For Vendetta-not been on yet at my local cinema ,heard some poor reviews but still fancy watching it, might wait for the DVD

Jarhead,Crash,A History of Violence,Lord Of War and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang-got copies of all these just need time to get round to watching them

Watched Hostel on Tuesday, thought it was shit but horror films aren't really my sort of thing anyway

Anyone know if Tarantino is working on anything at the moment, always look forward to his films(he should stick to doing his own thing rather than letting other people put his name on shite)

been looking forward to Clerks 2 for ages but not heard when it will be out

Cheers reno

The arts centre near me is showing Kill Bill 1 and 2, back to back, soon, so that will have to put me on until this gets finished and released, I'm guessing if they are filming now it might be out at the end of this year or early next year

I'd love to see them together as the origonal script. I wonder if tarentino filmed any of the Yukis revenge stuff (go gos twin) I doubt it but I did wonder because her ice cream van is audable and I think visable in the vernita bit. There are a couple of other things too that I can't quite remember (something about the pussy waggon being shot to shit by yuki and refered to in KB 2) plus the go go stabing the guy in the bar was a yuki scene.

My Amazon Rental List

Man Bites Dog (saw today)
Run Lola Run
The Harder They Come
1984
Soylent Green
Old Boy
Ronin
The Andromeda Strain
Scarface
Fahrenheit 451
THX 1138
Dead Man's Shoes

Quote- ATOMIC SUPLEX

Don't know about any of that Go Go's twin stuff, but I would love to see this as one film, as it should have been, maybe there will be a director's cut sometime, you never know with Tarantino he may well go back to it or tie that story into one of his other films in future

Watched Crash the other week, and thought it was very good.

Is anyone wanting to see "Walk the Line?" - Johnny Cash's Autobiography? Can't wait to see it. I also want to see Ian Curtis' autobiography, but can't remember the name of it.

Watched Hostel, got a lotta love for my fingers and toes right now

It was ok, watchable, not up to Mr Tarantinos usual standards though.

Yes. Didn't The Groke tell you I was mean ? ;)

What are pirate copies like these days ? I only ever watched one and the sound was muffled and the picture liked like a 3rd generation VHS copy.

Which means he had absolutely nothing to do with the actual making of Hostel, which would explain why it isn't anything like his own films. Roth got David Lynch to do the same thing for his last film.

It was perfect , it may have been a promotional copy as This Film is owned by ..... scrolled across the screen every so often.

woo hoo !!!!

There's nothing on the horizon that I'm excited to see :( Sometime ago there was a rumour of Ridley Scott redoing The Andromeda Strain, sadly this was diluted to a (by all accounts shite) four part TV series directed by someone else.

If there's anything coming up which is distinctly big and geeky, say a Crichton or early Ballard screenplay then I'd be all smiles.
