What does your home smell like ?

Now my house smells of the most unbelievably noxious cat shit either of these beasts have ever produced  And that's saying something.

Can cats get Novovirus?

Our home generally smells of fresh air, sometimes it smells of whatever has been cooked, later in the evening there may be a hint of herbal smoke.

None of us can handle those plug in smelly things. They tend to make us ill. Headaches and feel pukey, etc.

I do like the smell of just blown out candle though :) So sometimes the living room smells of that.

Currently it smells of a combination of sweaty sports clothes, trainers and Lynx, with undertones of beef stew.

Not good.

(altho my bedroom smells of lemons  )

The previous owners of the house we just bought left behind some lovely chocolate joss sticks. They smell gorgeous. Hadn't burned joss sticks for years. :)

Cat piss, weed, fags, detergent if I've just hung the washing up, shit if the cats have just left me a present

mmmm

I refuse to have one of those smelly fucking air fresheners though - would rather smell real smells than hack away on some fake scent

Shitake mushrooms. (Well the damp after a very rainy spell, but it reminds me of mushrooms anyway).

And overripe mangoes.

we ahve 6 dogs and 9 rabbits...

take a wild stab in the dark

actually normally it smells of joss sticks and "wild berry room freshener"

^^ incense is the ONLY air freshener I will allow in my house...it's the only one capable of coping with Ras's obscene odours

I can never really smell my home's smell. It's other people's homes that have a noticeable smell.

Although, that said, my bedroom does smell of damp plaster and mould at the moment :(

Are you taking the piss, or do you seriously have a library and office? *jealous* I'd hope your library smells of old leather and dust.

The office is for making money in, the Library is for enjoying reading in - 2 separate functions therefore 2 separate rooms.

As I said, the library just smells slightly dusty. There's no leathery smells as the chairs are fabric covered and any books that have leather bindings are in glass fronted cases not on open shelves.
