What do you watch on ITV?

corrie.

ITV 3 and 4 are suprisingly good during the day though - they show repeats of the professionals, randall & hopkirk deceased, morse etc (ironside as well?). just to rub salt in the wound that they did once make good programmes...

Nowt tbh, I rarely watch TV, if I hear about a good documentory I'll watch it on catchup TV, or if I happen to be home and catch a comedy type show, or the odd film but that's pretty much it.

It makes it a bit frustrating at work when they're all talking about what they watched the night before, especially as most of them are TV addicts! I have to do the old fingers in ears and 'la la la la' when they start on Big Brother though, drives me nuts, they talk about it like the house mates are their friends and they all went out the night before for a shindig...'oh and do you remember when so n so did such n such' aaaarrrrgggghhhh!!!!!!!!

Just make an obviouse point of pitying them. The brain-deaders

Inevitably the flashing lights and shinyness are reduced to a blurry, pixellated blur by their pisspoor, over compressed digital picture, it may well look great on a studio monitor but their broadcasts are a mess. I suspect ITV's bosses rarely watch their own channel. Can't blame them really :hmm:

I think that's common to a lot of television.

I doubt the BBC's producers of their Saturday night shitstravaganzas actually watch them. Though perhaps they should be forced to by law :p

What gets me is don't schedulers ever think 'Oh hang on, every fucker's seen Great Escape at least three times, I'll put something lesser known on as the sunday afternoon film'

or

'is three am really the best place for a star trek double bill?'

Star Trek's BBC2. ITV sometimes put on Quincy/Colombo late at night - they are great. Other than that I only watch F1

I find ITV news really patronising - human interest stories, funnies etc. Like they're trying to explain things to a 3 year old

F1, Football or the very occasional drama when they remember they used to make interesting dramas.

i was house sitting for someone recently and they had the Cracker box set. watched them for the first time in years and years. proper good TV.
