For me, I miss (off the top of my head and in no particular order):

The Grosvenor in Stockwell - great community pub/gig venue
A & C Deli in Atlantic Road - ace deli, where I shopped almost every single day
    Kaff - affordable fun venue
Canterbury Arms - one of the last school pubs left
    Splash - proper Brixton party
    Live gigs at the Albert
Country Show without a huge fence
    Free fireworks in Brockwell Park
    The Phoenix Cafe (Mk 1)

The Canterbury, the Grosvenor and the original Phoenix for sure
Late nights at the back room at The Queen
Insane/hilarious pub quiz at the Elm Park Tavern
The gigs I used to do at Jamm
    De Bess

I wonder what's happening with The Plough/The Plug? I saw someone painting the exterior window frames a few months back which made me wonder if it was being prepped for something. So odd that that site has lain empty for years while the rest of Brixton has been redeveloped.

But then what's happening with The Grosvenor?

It'll never be a pub again. They made sure of that when they ripped out the Victorian interior.

Talking of which, I wondered what happened to the wonderful fixtures in the Canterbury. Probably flogged off to some rich antiques twat.

i went to a night under some arches around that area not so long ago, maybe 4 years ago. It all seemed quite well organised and a fairly famous DJ was playing ("Redlight"). I guessed then it was probably semi legit but its a shame they couldnt maintain it as venue as i havent heard of anything happening there since.
