What do you lube your bicycle lock with?

I had to do that last summer. I missed out on half a day's work because of it. I wasn't pleased.

Mine was unfortunate too, the bit of lock that I was cutting jumped, once it was through, onto my hand - leaving a big burn (hardened steel - takes a while init?). And the lock was 60 euros and another 60 to replace

If you buy a lock, lose a lock and have to buy a new lock, you've bought one extra lock than you would have and it's cost you 60€ :)

erm... if I bought one lock for 60€ and then destroyed it and then bought another replacement for 60€ then I've spent 120€ - which is what I said:

and the lock was 60 euros and another 60 to replace.

ie. the original lock that I destroyed was 60€ and the replacement was 60€. Keyword being 'another' surely?

Err, yeah, but in the single act of cutting through it with an angle grinder you only cost yourself 60€!
