What do you do when you get in from work?

Routine or random?

Virtually always make a cup of tea, have a fag, read a bit and then make dinner.

After that it's random: either more work, read something (either workish or not), watch TV, go out or whatever.

Yeh, course, it's dead relaxing :) It's not like any bits of shit end up in the glass, and it's my own pong, so it's fine.

I reckon not showering after sweating in the gym is more ewwww anyway :p

Do you take anything to read though? I'd need something to read if I had a glass of wine on the bog.

Nah, got me hands full - spliff in one, glass int'other :) I get a much needed 10 minute wind down - the cats can't mither me and my daughter can't fire 50 questions at me :) I use the time to cast off the last anxieties of the working day. It's so much more than just having a shit :D

Kick back with some music, or an episode of something, then play a bit of a computer game, cook some food, have a beer, watch a film then sleep a happy slumber...

  • Discard coat & empty pockets onto bookcase (can't abide having stuff in my pockets when at home).
  • Pour a drink, sometimes non-alcoholic, more often not.
  • Fire up t'internet, stick telly on.
  • Go for a wee.
  • Sit down, smoke something, growl at the world for a short while.
  • Think about dinner, give up thinking, make toast again.
  • Attempt to do some work before the lure of a pre-bedtime spliff becomes unbearable.

  • put Tv on, watch neighbors, home and away and holly oaks
One of the few advantages to working long hours is that by the time I get home, all that sort of crap has long since finished.

Open post, feed cat, listen to Archers if home in time, do the supper, sort out any laundry, read a bit, go to bed.

assuming i'm first in..

lights on
feed cat
change out of work clothes
flick heating on
flick tv on
do washing up maybe
make some food maybe, though lately Hipipol's been doing the lion's share of this job.
feel overwhelmed by the incredible lightness of being
go to bed

Get in, get changed, eat, wash hair (in no particular order)

then; go out. normally to see someone/ where different each night of the week...

Get in about midnight (quite often later recently) and go to bed.
