In our house, 'the controller' refers to the remote control unit for the PS3 or the XBox.

It's usually just the remote, but sometimes it's either the doofler (with an l, never without), the doodle, the buttons or the oojaflid if I'm around certain friends.

I used to call it The Box. Then I met Mr Paw and his use of Hoofer Doofer insidiously crept into my subconcious and now that is what I call it too. Or the Hoof. Or the Hoofer. Or the Doof. Or the Doofer.
